Nestled at the foothills of Mount Meru, Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit. After check-in, relax at your historic lodge, enjoy the lush gardens, or unwind after your international flight while preparing for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scenic bush flight to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, your professional safari guide will meet you for your first thrilling game drive en route to the lodge. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast savannahs and abundant wildlife including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and countless antelope species.

Arrive at your luxurious lodge overlooking the endless plains and spend the afternoon enjoying the views or heading out for another game drive.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s remarkable ecosystem. With your expert guide, venture across the plains in search of the “Big Five” and other iconic wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness dramatic predator action or large herds of grazing animals moving across the savannah.

Return to the lodge for relaxation, enjoy the infinity pool overlooking a wildlife watering hole, or indulge in a spa treatment.

Another full day of adventure in the Serengeti allows you to explore different regions of the park. Early morning game drives offer the best opportunities to see predators returning from night hunts while the afternoon drive reveals active wildlife across the plains.

Optional activities such as hot air balloon safaris over the Serengeti can be arranged for a truly unforgettable perspective of the landscape.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti with a game drive en route toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor hosts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before ascending the rim and continuing to your luxury lodge.

Today you will travel to the remote Lake Eyasi region for a unique cultural experience with the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Join the Hadzabe on a traditional morning hunt and learn about their ancient survival skills.

You will also visit the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths known for their metalwork and pastoral lifestyle. This immersive experience offers a rare glimpse into traditional cultures that have remained largely unchanged for centuries.

Later, continue to your lodge near the Ngorongoro highlands.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its lush groundwater forests, flamingo-filled lake, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a scenic game drive through diverse habitats including forest, woodland, and open plains.

Later in the evening, embark on a rare night game drive, offering the opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife such as bush babies, civets, genets, and possibly leopards.

After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds.

Enjoy a game drive en route to your camp. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and leopards.

Spend a full day exploring Tarangire’s diverse landscapes and rich wildlife. The park is especially known for its large elephant populations and impressive birdlife, with over 500 species recorded.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives or relax at camp between activities while taking in the peaceful wilderness surroundings.

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive back toward Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short stop for lunch or shopping before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international departure.
