Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Moshi town, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Depending on your arrival time, relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before your mountain adventure begins.
In the evening, meet your mountain guide for a comprehensive trek briefing, equipment inspection, and final preparation for the climb. Missing trekking gear can be rented locally if necessary.

After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro for registration formalities before continuing to the trailhead.
Your trek begins through the lush rainforest zone, where giant trees, moss-covered branches, and rich vegetation create a magical atmosphere. The trail is gentle and ideal for the first acclimatization day. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys and colorful birdlife along the route.
By late afternoon, arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp, also known as “Big Tree Camp,” where your mountain crew will prepare dinner and camping facilities.

Today’s trek leaves the rainforest behind and enters the heath and moorland zone. As you ascend higher, vegetation gradually changes into giant heathers and volcanic landscapes.
The trail becomes steeper in sections, but the scenery opens dramatically with stunning views across the Shira Plateau and distant Mount Meru. This is an important acclimatization day as you gain significant altitude.
Arrive at Shira 1 Camp in the afternoon and enjoy panoramic views over the plateau.

Today’s hike is shorter and designed primarily for acclimatization. Cross the vast Shira Plateau, one of the highest plateaus in the world, surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery and wide-open landscapes.
The route offers magnificent views of Kibo Peak and the glaciers above. The slower pace helps your body adapt naturally to the altitude while preserving energy for the days ahead.
Arrive at Shira 2 Camp with time to relax, hydrate, and optionally take a short acclimatization walk.

This is one of the most important acclimatization days on the mountain following the “climb high, sleep low” principle.
After breakfast, continue ascending toward Lava Tower at approximately 4,630 meters. The landscape becomes increasingly alpine and rugged with sparse vegetation and volcanic rock formations.
After reaching the high point near Lava Tower and enjoying lunch, descend gradually into the scenic Barranco Valley. The descent allows your body to acclimatize more effectively while offering breathtaking scenery dominated by giant senecio plants and towering cliffs.
Barranco Camp is considered one of the most beautiful camps on Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, begin the exciting climb up the famous Barranco Wall. Although steep in some areas, the ascent is non-technical and highly rewarding with incredible panoramic views over valleys, glaciers, and surrounding peaks.
After reaching the top of the wall, continue trekking across rolling ridges and valleys before arriving at Karanga Camp. Today’s shorter trek supports continued acclimatization and allows extra time for rest and hydration before summit night approaches.

Today’s hike leads to Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit attempt. The terrain becomes rocky and barren as you enter the high alpine desert zone.
The trail steadily ascends with spectacular views of Mawenzi Peak and the surrounding glaciers. Upon arrival at camp, enjoy an early dinner and rest while your guide provides a detailed summit briefing.
Preparation for summit night includes organizing warm clothing, headlamps, water, and energy snacks before attempting the final ascent.

Around midnight, begin the challenging summit ascent under the stars. The climb is slow and steady across steep volcanic scree guided by headlamps and the encouragement of your mountain crew.
After several hours of climbing, reach Stella Point at sunrise before continuing along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Standing at the summit is an unforgettable achievement with breathtaking views across glaciers and the African plains below.
After celebrating and taking photographs, descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down through changing vegetation zones to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.

At the gate, receive your summit certificates and celebrate your achievement together with the mountain crew. This is also the traditional time for tipping and farewell celebrations with guides, cooks, and porters who supported your climb throughout the journey.
After lunch and celebrations, transfer by road to Arusha for relaxation and recovery.

After breakfast, begin your safari adventure with a drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and enormous elephant herds.
Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse landscapes of savannah, river valleys, and acacia woodlands. Wildlife sightings may include lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and a remarkable variety of birdlife.
The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, creating excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
