Your private guide from Safari Nuggets will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and bring you to your booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 to 4:Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate (Dolly Estate)

After your breakfast your guide will drive you to this former sisal plantation, viewing both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro from this golf course is a special experience.

An oasis of peace and tranquility. You can take a walk on the Estate and enjoy the facilities the Estate offers, such as a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, tennis court, and fitness room.

The avid golfers are probably anxious to use the 18-holes Championship Golf Course. For more information about the golf facilities: www.kiligolf.com

Day 5:Lake Manyara National Park

After this first introduction to the Golf Adventure, you go a few days on safari. You depart in the morning for a 1.5-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a full day in this beautiful and relatively small park, which is famous for the large numbers of flamingos and the tree-climbing lions.

At the end of the afternoon, you start your journey to Karatu and enjoy your scenic view. (It is possible to overnight on the crater rim; if you like to you can ask for it.)

Day 6:Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Today you descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro crater for an impressive game drive. The crater is also known as ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ and is unique. One of the highlights is the rare black Rhino, and if you are lucky you will spot it here.

After a maximum allowed stay of six hours in the crater, you will start your journey to Serengeti National Park for your next experience in your Golf Safari. If you are lucky you witness one of nature’s most spectacular events: the migration of millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.

Day 7:Serengeti National Park

Immerse you in the splendors of the Serengeti with a full-day game viewing in the park. Explore the incredible concentration of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, elephants, and wildebeest. To make your trip even more adventurous you have the option to go on a hot air balloon safari (not included).

If the weather is okay, you will look over endless savanna and spot wildlife from the air. The balloon safari is ended in style with a champagne breakfast. At the end of the day, you return to your accommodation at Serengeti, where you can enjoy the sundowner, the starry sky, the sound of wildlife around your accommodation –the ultimate ‘Out of Africa’ – feeling.

Day 8:Serengeti National Park, Karatu

The morning you spend in the Serengeti national park. In the afternoon you leave the park so you can see the beautiful environment of the Ngorongoro crater from another perspective.

You will probably spot giraffes, elephants, zebras, and the colorful Maasai with their cattle. In the afternoon you arrive at your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 9:Mto wa Mbu, Maasai boma, Tarangire National Park

Today you can experience culture and local life in your Golf Safari. After breakfast, your guide drives in the direction of Tarangire national park. On your way, you can visit Mto wa Mbu. In this lovely village, you meet the local people.

The village represents more than 25 different tribes (of about 127 tribes in Tanzania). Not far from Mto wa Mbu is an authentic Maasai village, a visit to their village gives you the opportunity to experience their culture, traditions, and lifestyle. The Maasai welcome you by means of a ritual. After this unique visit, you go to the Tarangire area to stay overnight.

Day 10:Tarangire National park, Arusha

Today your Golf Safari brings you to Tarangire National Park, where you can see the large herds of elephants near the Tarangire River, while migratory wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, and impalas crowd the shrinking lagoons.

During your game drive in the park, you will often follow or pass the Tarangire river. This river provides permanent water during the whole year.

The vegetation in the park is so diverse, from acacia and palm trees to swamps and savannahs. You may be lucky to spot the tree-climbing python for which the park is famous or the largest flying bird (the Kori Bustard).

Day 11:Tarangire National Park, Arusha

This morning you can relish the facilities of the lodge for the last time before you head back to Arusha to enjoy the last part of your Golf Safari. In the afternoon you can visit this lively city.

Arusha offers lots of options, like the Cultural Heritage (museum), a market, or just a relaxed walk through town. You can also choose to head back to your accommodation at Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate.

Day 12 and 13:Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate

You can enjoy the golf course and other facilities on the estate. It is also possible to walk around Lake Duluti or visit the Moshi town or the hot spring Maji Moto.

This hot spring, situated in the bush, is breathtaking. All in all, there are more than enough things to do these days.

Day 14:Departure

Your Golf Safari comes to an end. Depending on your (further) travel plans your guide will bring you to the airport or another destiny as you wish.

You can combine your Golf Safari with various activities such as hiking, biking, scuba diving, balloon or helicopter flight, or a nice beach holiday at Zanzibar or the uninhabited island Fanjove or Mnemba.

Note: This is a sample package, the Golf Safari can range widely in cost, depending on how many days, how many people, the level of luxury you are looking for, and many other factors. Please ask us for a specific quote.
